SHIAMAK SUMMER FUNK 2015 – RISE OF THE CHAMPIONS

For over a decade, SHIAMAK has made dance available for all with an aim to provide quality dance training to dance enthusiasts from ages four to sixty four across the lower mainland.

SHIAMAK Summer Funk batch gives students an opportunity to learn and train in their favourite dance styles to their favourite songs and gain a wholesome perspective working on costumes and properties. The annual student show, Summer Funk Show, gives a platform for all participating students to perform on stage in a professional setup.

To help students interact and build team spirit, this year, each centre is a competing team at the ‘Rise of the Champions – SHIAMAK Dance Competition’.  This healthy competition is a way to make students work hard and come together to put up great performances. The winning team would be selected not only on the basis of their overall dance ability but also their team work, energy and creativity in terms of props and costumes.

On 27^th June, music will come alive as the students will showcase a variety of dance styles at Bell Performing Arts Center in Surrey.  Be there and witness the magic!
