Shiamak - Summer Funk 2014

Dance enthusiasts of all ages and from across the Lower Mainland will take the Bell Performing Arts Centre by storm on July 5th, 2014 with Summer Funk, presented by Shiamak Davar International (Vancouver).  Summer Funk is a celebratory culmination of a unique eleven-week recreational dance workshop offered by Shiamak’s instructors in Vancouver, Richmond, Surrey, and Burnaby.  This year’s revelry brings together a talented group of dance devotees, ages four to sixty-four, to share a memorable selection of Shiamak’s trademark Bollywood Jazz songs and dance.  This year’s Summer Funk theme is “COLORS” which will come alive on stage through interesting dance movement, creative themes & concepts and of course bright costumes and properties.  This July also marks the 10^th Anniversary of Shiamak’s Summer Funk in Vancouver, so get ready for a special celebration!  This dance event offers a rare opportunity to see parents and their children, as well as couples and friends perform together like stars on a professional stage in front of a huge – thousand plus – audience.  It is what makes this event so special – for both audiences and performers alike.  Tickets sales start @ 9:00 a.m. from Monday June 16^th onwards.  Call 604-507-6355 to reserve your seats.  For more information about Summer Funk, like our Facebook Page (Shiamak Vancouver) and follow us on twitter (@shiamakvanc) for more updates.
