HSBC 2013 CHINESE NEW YEAR GALA

The White Rock and South Surrey Chinese Society (CIWR) will hold the HSBC 2013 Chinese Lunar New Year Gala-Golden Snake Dancing Night on February 11, 2013 at the Bell Performing Arts Centre. Lunar Chinese New Year is the largest and most important annual spring festival celebrated by Chinese and Chinese descendants around the world. This event will offer a great opportunity for our guests and attendees to make positive contributions to the multicultural society of Canada, while preserving and promoting our Chinese cultural heritage.   The famous Chinese music director Jin Zhang will lead a 100-voice choir offering you “Beautiful Flowers and Full Moon”. We also have other famous Chinese musicians and artists that will provide wonderful performances throughout the show. The performances include dancing, singing, musical instrument playing, and so on. During the show we will also invite guests and audience members to play a special game. Before the show CIWR will provide a free New Year dinner to our guests and audience, the dinner will start at 4:30pm. (Location to be determined) We are pleased to have you join us.
