Zachary Stevenson has performed as Buddy Holly in no less than 10 different productions of the Buddy Holly Story in North America. He recently performed a leading role in the hit musical Red Rock Diner (Michael Buble once starred in this show) at Vancouver’s Arts Club Theatre during the summer of 2014.

Buddy Holly was more popular than Elvis in England… and four young lads from Liverpool grew up emulating him during the late 1950’s. It was the summer of 1958 when the Quarrymen (John, Paul & George) made their very first recording at Phillips Sound Recording Service in Liverpool… it was “That’ll Be The Day” by Buddy Holly. Much of the early song writing technique of Lennon and McCartney was influenced by Buddy Holly songs.

And… Anyone coming of age during the early sixties remembers The Beatles’ historic appearances on The Ed Sullivan Show on three consecutive Sundays in February, 1964. It was the beginning of Beatlemania…

It’s hard to believe it has been 50 years since The Fab Four’s first arrival to North America… Canada’s #1 Beatles’ tribute band, Fab Fourever is teaming up with Zachary Stevenson (Canada’s Buddy Holly) in the first ever… “Buddy and the Beatles Tour.”

The concert will present the music of Buddy Holly and how it affected the Beatles’ career featuring all the early Beatle hits complete with costume changes and vintage Beatle instruments. Also Performing… Rock’n’Roll diva Molly Dee.
